About Word Builder Factory for Kids
Word Builder Factory is a Premium English game for PlayPuzzle members aged 5 to 10. Each round is a factory order: the child hears a word spoken aloud, then builds it from mixed-up letter tiles by dragging them onto a moving conveyor belt, or by tapping a letter and then tapping a space. The written word is never shown before the attempt, so every order is genuine listening and spelling practice rather than copying. When the spelling is right the machine stamps the box, the truck drives away and stars are awarded; when it is wrong only the misplaced letters return to the tray, so a near miss is never a restart. Seventy-two orders run from three letter words such as CAT and SUN through to ten letter words such as PLAYGROUND, across nine categories covering animals, food, school, nature, body parts, colours, actions, places and everyday objects. Difficulty adapts as the shift goes on: a run of clean orders quietly adds more spare letters and takes the picture clue away, while a mistake brings the picture back. Every shipped word joins a gallery showing its picture, meaning and an example sentence, and can be heard again or spelled out letter by letter.

How to Play
- Press Start the shift and listen to the order being read aloud.
- Press the speaker button any time you want to hear the word again.
- Drag a letter tile onto a space on the conveyor belt. On a phone or tablet you can tap the letter and then tap the space instead.
- Tap a letter already on the belt to send it back to the tray.
- Press Hint if you get stuck, and Reset to clear the belt and start the word again.
- Press Ship it when the word looks right, and watch the machine pack and send your order.

What age is Word Builder Factory for?
The game is designed for ages 5 to 10. The first shift uses three letter words with a picture clue on every order, and later shifts build up to words of eight to ten letters with more spare letters in the tray.
Is the word shown on screen before the child spells it?
No. The word is only ever spoken aloud. The belt shows blank spaces until the child fills them, and the written word appears only on the card after the order has shipped, together with its picture and meaning.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Every letter can be dragged with a finger, and tapping a letter and then tapping a space does exactly the same thing. Tiles are large, and the page will not scroll away underneath a drag.
What happens when a word is spelled wrongly?
The game gives friendly spoken feedback and returns only the letters that were in the wrong place, so the letters the child already got right stay on the belt and the order can be finished rather than restarted.
Does the difficulty change as my child improves?
Yes. Word length is set by the shift, but the number of spare letters in the tray and whether the picture clue is shown adapt to recent performance. A run of clean orders makes the tray harder; a mistake or repeated hints brings the support back.
What do children learn besides spelling?
