About Gear Factory
Gear Factory is a Premium mechanical reasoning game for children ages 7–14. Repair five factory worlds across 50 puzzles, from simple gear chains to speed ratios, heavy loads and compound gearing. Place gears, predict movement, start the motor and watch a conveyor, pump, elevator, press or crusher come to life. Untimed experiments, four-stage hints, undo, daily challenges and saved stars make room for curiosity.

How to Play
- Select a gear from the kit, then tap an empty axle, or drag the gear into place.
- Read the machine goal and connect its output to the motor.
- Press Start Machine and observe the direction and speed.
- Use hints, Remove, Undo and Reset freely as you experiment.
- Earn stars for a working design and an efficient use of gears. Complete eight levels to open the next world.

Age Group
Ages 7 to 14. The difficulty and amount of guidance increase gradually, so younger children can start with introductory activities and older children can try more advanced challenges.
FAQs
Is there a time limit?
No. Attempts, hints and undo do not reduce stars. Careful reasoning matters more than speed.
Can I play without dragging?
Yes. Select a gear and then an axle using taps or the keyboard. An expanded axle-control list is available below the board.
Does progress save?
Progress saves on this browser and synchronizes with the active PlayPuzzle profile when the existing progress service is available.
Is this a full physics simulation?
The game uses consistent ideal gear ratios and motor loads. Friction and acceleration are simplified, and overloaded motors stall.
