About Little Scientist Lab for Kids
Little Scientist Lab is a Premium virtual science laboratory for PlayPuzzle members aged 7 to 12. Children work at eight benches — states of matter, floating and sinking, magnetism, light, sound, mixing, circuits and heat — dragging apparatus onto the bench, then choosing materials to drop, pour, stir, warm, chill and test one at a time, and building circuits from batteries, wires and lamps. Every one of the twenty-four experiments follows the same loop scientists use: predict what will happen, run the experiment, observe the result, then read the explanation and a bonus science fact. Predictions are never marked wrong, so guessing is safe and being surprised is the point. Four progressive levels move from one obvious variable to open problems with more than one correct method, and stars, science points, badges and a lab notebook reward careful work. Every experiment is a drawing, so nothing can spill, burn or break, and each one carries its own child-friendly safety line.

How to Play
- Choose a station and an unlocked experiment.
- Read or listen to the question and predict what you think will happen.
- Drag the apparatus onto the glowing spaces on the bench, or tap a piece and then tap a space.
- Choose a material from the shelf, then use the controls to stir, warm, cool, switch or aim.
- Press Test to run the experiment and watch what happens.
- Read the explanation and the science fact, then earn your stars and badge.
What Kids Learn
- That floating depends on density, not on how heavy something feels

Age Group
Ages 7 to 12. The difficulty and amount of guidance increase gradually, so younger children can start with introductory activities and older children can try more advanced challenges.

What age is Little Scientist Lab for?
The lab is designed for ages 7 to 12. Junior Scientist experiments change one obvious thing at a time, while Master Scientist experiments are open problems that can be solved in more than one correct way.
Is this a science quiz?
No. Children build the experiment themselves by dragging apparatus onto a bench, then choosing which material to drop in, pour, stir, heat or cool, and building circuits piece by piece. The only question asked is a prediction before each experiment, and that prediction is never marked wrong.
Which science topics does it cover?
Eight stations cover states of matter, density and floating, magnetism, light, sound, simple chemistry, electricity and heat transfer. Forces and simple machines are covered by our separate Physics Playground game.
Are the experiments safe?
Yes. Every experiment is a drawing, so nothing can spill, burn or break, and no real-world procedure that would be unsafe to copy is ever shown. Each bench carries its own child-friendly safety line, and the lab rules make clear that real experiments always need a grown-up.
Can children play on phones and tablets?
Yes. The bench, trays and controls adapt to phones, tablets, laptops and desktops, in portrait and landscape, and every drag has a tap-to-place and a keyboard alternative.
How do hints work?
Each experiment has three hints that escalate. The first points at the idea, the second narrows it down, and the third shows exactly what to do. Using hints costs stars but never blocks progress.
Is Little Scientist Lab free?
No. It is a Premium PlayPuzzle game. This public guide is available to everyone, but playing requires an active PlayPuzzle sign-in.
